Terms of Service
Updated: September 10, 2026
By scheduling a one-time or recurring service with White Glove Cleaning Services, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions and providing authorization to charge your credit card.
Our Promise to You
White Glove Cleaning Services is a licensed, bonded, and insured professional cleaning company. We only use all-natural cleaning products in every home and office we service.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee — If you are dissatisfied with any portion of your cleaning, notify us within 24 hours and a crew will be sent back within 48 business hours to make it right. We do not offer cash refunds or discounts in place of a redo.
In Order to Provide You with the Best Possible Service
1. Make Your Home Accessible
- Provide a door code or lockbox code. A fee will apply if we are unable to access your home.
- Turn off alarm systems. We follow your instructions carefully, but we are not liable for false alarms, security company charges, or police department fees resulting from an activated alarm.
- You agree to hold White Glove Cleaning harmless from any liability related to alarm access or improper arming.
- Allow full home access. Our technicians follow a set order to ensure thoroughness. If a different order is required, please call ahead — additional time is billed at our hourly rate in 15-minute increments.
2. Have Your Home Picked Up and Ready to Be Cleaned
- Hourly charges may be incurred if cleaning technicians require more time if your home is not ready to be cleaned or if a job is underestimated due to the condition of the home.
- We are not equipped to clean bug infestations, bodily fluids, or extensive grease or fire damage. If our staff does not feel safe in a home or environment they will leave or we will remove them.
PLEASE NOTE: If we are not able to clean the entire space due to the conditions, you will still be responsible for the full cost of the cleaning.
2.1 Heavy Appliances and Furniture: No Movement Policy
- Our cleaners will not move heavy appliances or large furniture items (such as refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, couches, or heavy beds).
- Liability and Damage Prevention: This policy is strictly enforced to prevent property damage (including scratched floors, torn vinyl, or broken tiles) and utility hazards (such as ruptured gas lines, leaking water hoses, or damaged electrical cords).
- Scope of Cleaning: We will only clean the exposed surfaces of these appliances and any areas that can be safely reached with standard extended dusting and vacuuming tools.
- Client Responsibility: If you require cleaning behind or underneath heavy appliances, you must safely move them out before our team arrives. Our cleaners will not assist in moving them back into place.
2.2 Complete Customer Service Evaluations
Customer feedback is crucial in helping us offer the highest quality of service to all of our clients. Customer service surveys are sent after each cleaning by email or text. Customers are always welcome to call our office at (509) 821-2234 with feedback about your service.
Cancellation & Lockout Policy
- We require at least 48 hours notice for reschedules or cancellations.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged 100% of the full anticipated cost of the cleaning. No exceptions.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice (but more than 24 hours) that are not rescheduled within one week will also be charged the full anticipated cost of the cleaning.
- Exceptions may be made for emergencies or illness, but frequent cancellations may still incur fees at our discretion.
- If more than 3 weeks elapse between cleanings, the next visit will be charged at our current hourly rate.
- Company-initiated changes due to holidays or weather will be rescheduled as close to your original date as possible.
- Our hours are 9:30 am – 5:00 pm. If staff is sent away or locked out during these hours, a $75 cancellation fee applies.
Breakage & Damage Policy
- If we are asked to clean inside china cabinets, start laundry, wash dishes, handle antiques or collections, or use your own equipment, you agree to release White Glove Cleaning from liability for any resulting damage or breakage.
- We carry Limited Liability protection for replacement or repair. Identical replacement will be attempted but not guaranteed.
- Damage must be reported within 2 business days of service, or we may not be held liable.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by faulty installation, lack of maintenance, or general wear and tear.
General Policies
- White Glove Cleaning reserves the right to reevaluate rates at any time.
- Changes to your service after your original estimate may result in additional charges or a new estimate.
- Due to liability, we cannot care for pets, plants, or children during our visit.
Payment
- Check, cash, and credit cards are all accepted forms of payment.
- A $45 service charge applies to all NSF checks. If a check is not received on the day of your cleaning, your card will be charged.
- Declined cards and unpaid balances incur a $25 fee or 15% interest — whichever is greater.
- Cash should be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the office.
- A verbal agreement to begin service constitutes acceptance of these terms and authorization to charge the card on file.
Before & After Photos
We photograph our work before and after each cleaning for training, proof of performance, and promotional use. If you prefer we do not take photos in your home, please let us know when scheduling.
Non-Solicitation of Staff
By engaging our services, you agree not to directly hire any White Glove Cleaning staff member for home-related services. Each technician signs a non-solicitation agreement upon hiring.
If you wish to hire a staff member directly, please speak with the owner. Confirmed solicitation carries a referral and training fee of $3,500 per employee hired.
